Is Africa the leading job market?

Today we have more than 30 people competing for one job in the developed and developing nation each year, due to the increase of graduate students.  Job hunting has become very difficult and strenuous  for recent graduates because companies are looking for individuals with 5,7 and 10 years experience. Other people are lucky at  securing a job position immediately after graduation. Sometimes the job force is more about who you know and not what you know. This is particularly common in Africa where nepotism is highly practiced. I am happy to learn from CNN that things are changing and business owners are seeking for skilled individuals who are passionate and possess innovate, transformational ideas. This CNN link click here provide more information for those planning to relocate to Africa.

Solar Power in Ghana!!!

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology

In my last blog on Ghana click here to learn about the economy growth of the nation. Well, I stated that the economy of the country has been increasing despite the issue of electricity that has been affecting the countries for years. It seems like, Business and home owners has found solace in utilizing solar power to combat the shortage of electricity. I think this is an incredible development in the country and it shows that creativity can be born out of adversity. In addition, this is a great way for the country to make use of its rich solar energy and it is cheaper than using generator.
BBC  " Africa is a continent full of natural resources, but one - the sun - is being underused. The deep and drawn-out energy crisis in Ghana has prompted more and more people to harvest solar power.
The BBC's Suzanne Vanhooymissen reports from Accra, Ghana, for Africa Business Report.

Architecture and Africa's Independence

The 1960s and 70s was the era of architectural revolution, but it was also the time of African nations emancipation from colonialism. According to Manuel Herz, the best architecture were built in Africa during this time. I think that the buildings was an expression of Africa's liberation from oppression.

CNN: The 1960s and '70s were revolutionary decades in terms of architecture, and some of the very best of it was built in Africa.
At least, that's how Manuel Herz sees it. An architect and historian, Herz has recently curated an exhibition on the subject for the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany. The exhibit, titled "Architecture of Independence: African Modernism" focuses on some of the most dynamic projects built in the wake of colonialism.
"Some of these buildings are really the most interesting and fascinating that were built in that era worldwide, but they have completely fallen off the radar," he laments.
Herz focused on a handful of countries: Senegal, the Ivory Coast, Zambia, Ghana and Kenya. Each building, he says, tells a story about that country's hopes and aspirations. Browse through the gallery above to see what those stories are. Click here for more images.

Tidal and Nigeria

For those of you who haven't heard about Tidal, it is an online music streaming service that Jay Z launched, during the month of March 2015.  Celebrities believe that Tidal will help protect their music from piracy and also increase their profit. With service backers like Rihanna, Madonna, Kanye West, and of course, the Queen Bee herself(Beyonce), some people still claims that Tidal is not doing very well. This statement made Jay Z himself to go on twitter and set the record straight about Tidal net profit. You might be wondering why I'm writing about Jay Z. Well, that is because he mention on twitter that his cousin is in Nigeria scouting for talents .I guess it's a plus for Tidal because they are promoting diversity!

Billboard posted some images of the Tidal Wave Launch
